Dah tried out baju pengantin tadi. As expected, baju tu muat-muat je dengan badan saya. Tapi itu bukan petanda saya boleh rileks and stop dieting. Ada bonjol-bonjol hodoh yang perlu dibuang segera!.haha. OMG, kenapalah baju pengantin semua kecik-kecik.

So far, baju, pelamin, kanopi, make-up and fotografi dah ditempah. Banyak benda lagi need to be done. Kad jemputan, cenderamata tetamu belum ditempah lagi. Thanks to my unofficial PA, Mastura for helping me out with the to -do list. Next, I have to wait for him to come back and we will go shopping for barang hantaran. InsyaAllah.

Time is ticking. I know two months is quite a long period before my engagement day in December. But I am pretty sure that a disorganized person like me will be 'kelam kabut' at the last minutes of time. So I have thought on simple things like deciding the theme colours and listing down the stuff for my hantaran. Okay. Ini adalah kaler2 yang terpilih untuk jadi kaler tema for my engagement day. My baju warna cream...and kaler2 yang lain tu nanti jadi penyeri hantaran...dua gmbar ni jadi inspiration for me to decide the colours. I hope I can get fresh roses for the hantaran on both my engagement and my wedding.

First Step is Done

I don't like to talk much about our relationship because I'm afraid we will not end up getting married. But of course i pray to Him that everything will be fine and i will get my 'happily ever after' ending.

I just want to share the feeling after his family went to my house to get to know me (and merisik). Before this, i always blame my parents for making it hard for us to get married. I once thought of getting married without undergoing the merisik or meminang parts which i thought will cost a lot money and time and will delay our marriage. but now i realized i was wrong. The feeling of undergoing these 'adat' is really sweet. I am happy to see my parents and his parents got to know each other well and his parents can see me at my own house...not in theirs which is kind of not appropriate. Now i know why my parents forbid me to go to their house alone. It is not bad but it is just 'tak manis' said those old folks. As now both sides know each other, a lot of things can be done without any misunderstandings.

So now, i have to wait until this December for my engagement day and May next year for the BIG day. Sometimes waiting makes us realize a lot of things. no need to rush. all i need is to stay calm and remember that he loves me and he wants me to be his wife. Just let Allah take care of the rest.

Finally I got a chance to watch Nur Kasih. However, I managed to watch only 15 minutes before it ended because somebody called me. There was this scene where Aidil and Adam is having a heart-to-heart conversation that caught my attention and made me 'terasa'. Dush2!

Adam: salah ke Adam abang.. Fikiran berselang seli dengan hal-hal dunia sedangkan niat Adam datang ke sini untuk beribadat kepada Allah. ( they are in Mecca at that time)

Aidil: fikir pasal ape? pasal kerja?

Adam: pasal Nur (his wife)

Aidil: tak salah fikir pasal isteri kerana cinta. Tapi jangan sampai melebihi cinta kepada Allah.

I believe we heard this phrase a few times 'jangan melebihi cinta kepada Allah'. But most of the time, we tend to love worldly things more then we love HIM who gives us all that. Fikiran berselang seli dengan hal dunia? how many times did I do that? A LOT!That's the biggest struggle in me. To put Him as the first and always remain the first. Forgive me God. I am trying hard.

This non-fiction book discusses how French women always look beautiful, whenever and wherever. It was written by Helena Frith Powell based on her interviews with many French women and also men. I am going to reveal some secrets revealed by this British woman who lives in Paris. Here are some facts about French women. Let's start with the positive ones first.

French women never leave home without make up. Yes, even if they just want to throw rubbish outside their houses.
Half of their salary is allocated for creams, make-up and lingerie.
Oh yes, they think beautiful lingerie are important and they must matched. Don't forget to hand wash them.
They use creams to get rid of cellulite. They believe it works.
They enjoy many foods, but they eat them in small portions.
They never enjoy beer or wine like British women do. So no such case as hang over.
They are secretive and mysterious with men. Sort of jual mahal la.
They always move to keep fit.
Dressing up is their normal daily routine. Even if they are at home.
They feed their children with healthy food and never with those chicken nuggets and fries.

How about some negative ones

They don't make friends with other French women. This is because their friends might sleep with their husbands. So there is no such thing as girlfriends in Paris. They rather make friends with guys or just stick with family members.
And the French men, they sleep with other women apart from their wives even if they say they don't. 'Why do you need to be so brutally honest?' said one of the guys. Excuse me??
They are lazy. They work when they want. That's why they have time to look beautiful all the time.
They don't breastfed. They don't want to sag their breast.
They like to smoke.

J: ha'a naik kapal pergi London.

Me: naik kapal? tak naik jet eh?

J: Mane ade jet mase tu. Malaysia Airlines takde lagi. Pastu Tunku mendarat kat Melaka. Turun-turun die terus isytihar merdeka kat Padang Pahlawan.

Me: ooo...(buat2 tahu) bukan die isytihar kat KL ke?

5 Reasons Why I Hate School.

At night, bugs come and attack our house as if there are no other houses to go. I got bitten so many times and it left ugly scars. I don't mean nyamuklah, these bugs are a lot more dangerous and their bites are usually painful (T_T).
Clowns are sometimes entertaining. But when they make those 18sx or stupid jokes, it makes me wanna puke. And they are teachers! Oh my hopeless society...
Two observations left and I can't stand anymore critics now. huhu. Nobody likes to be criticized kan?. And I am not interested to impress people.
Call me lazy bum or whatever but I hate writing lesson plans and reflections. They are long. More then 2 pages. Set Induction stage... development stage..closure..rationales...educational emphases..moral values...curriculum specs....cant wait to throw all that when I really become a teacher.
Kids, silence please. Teacher dah letih ni~! (sambil urut tekak sebab da takde suara).

It's the end of my summer holiday now..I need to think about loads of school works after this. I can't believe the teacher is dreadfully lazier then the students when school starts. I blogged this photo through my handset, so it's kind of upside down..huhu. When I was in UK, I always make fruit salad but with different ingredients. I used double cream and some honey and fruits like kiwi, strawberries, grapes, bananas and some chocolate souce... But here in Malaysia, it's hard to find double cream in Machang..so I just used evaporated milk, and condensed milk, which make it tastes slightly different but still okay laa..huhu. Make some for your family. Hope you and your family love it.

There is. In fact a lot more disgusting then the Satans who are locked in hell.

These stupid people took advantage to rob other people houses while the owners go for terawikh in the most holy month. I heard these 'Satanic relatives' also steal motocycles and cars outside the mosque. I remember those days they only 'accidently' took slipers which are not theirs especially if the slipers are ADIDAS or Nike. What kind of society we've become?. I guess we are back to Jahiliyah period where people can rob others just like that. Malaysia is no longer safe for us to live. Even I'm afraid to sleep at night. I'm scared staying in my own house.

I hope God will punish them severely and give them hidayah. And I hope Allah will protect my family from these true Satans.

Ada beberapa peringkat harus diberi perhatian supaya termasuk dalam golongan puasa terbaik. Ini diingatkan junjungan besar Nabi Muhammad SAW dalam sabdanya bermaksud: “Berapa ramai orang yang berpuasa mereka tidak mendapat apa-apa balasan melainkan lapar dan dahaga. ”

Peringatan ini jelas menunjukkan kita perlu berpuasa seperti dikehendaki Islam supaya mendapat balasan Allah seterusnya menjadikan kita orang bertakwa.

Puasa peringkat pertama, puasa orang awam yang sekadar menahan diri daripada makan, minum dan tidak melakukan persetubuhan ketika siang. Namun pancaindera lain seperti mata, telinga, tangan, kaki, mulut, pemikiran dan lebih penting hati tidak dipelihara malah berlipat ganda melakukan perkara negatif yang mengurangkan pahala.

Puasa peringkat kedua ialah puasa ahlul khusus iaitu mereka menahan diri daripada makan, minum dan tidak mengikuti kemahuan syahwat serta menjaga anggota zahir lain daripada perbuatan yang keji. Namun mereka lalai mengingati Allah. Jasad saja yang berpuasa tetapi unsur terpenting iaitu hati mereka abaikan sehingga terus alpa terhadap Allah.

Puasa peringkat ketiga dan terbaik ialah puasa ahli khusus/ahlul ma’rifah iaitu mereka meninggalkan semua perkara di atas di samping menjaga hati supaya tidak lalai mengingati Allah. Segala amalan dilakukan semata-mata untuk mendapatkan keredaan Allah. Inilah martabat ibadah puasa nabi dan sidikin dan mendapat ganjaran besar di sisi Allah.

“Hai orang beriman diwajibkan ke atas kamu berpuasa seperti diwajibkan atas orang sebelum kamu supaya kamu bertakwa.” (Surah Al-Baqarah, ayat 183)

This time I wish to have a home

A home which I can decorate it myself

A home which I can put fresh flowers everywhere

A home where I can put soft, pastel coloured cushions on a big cream sofa

A home where I can keep all my favourite books in a big white bookrack

A home where I can lie down with Jimmy and our kids

A home which I can call Jannah..
